Racing Limos, Inc. and the Racing Limos Licensees across the United States announced yesterday that they will make a donation to the Salvation Army Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund. Racing Limos, Inc. will match all donations made by the Racing Limos Licensees up to $100 per Licensee.

“We're shocked and saddened at the destruction that was left in the path of Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama,” said Racing Limos President Bryan Pease. “We are so proud of our Licensees, not only for their cash contributions but also the contributions of the time and effort put in by the Licensees in that area."

There are thousands of families who have been left with virtually nothing other than the clothes on their backs. Lake Charles Licensee Byron Morvant and Racing Limos of SW Louisiana have been delivering groceries, diapers, and other supplies to their local civic center.

Brennan Freeland, Licensee for the Baton Rouge area is also a "first responder" and volunteered to assist in New Orleans. Jim and Jan Freeland who are partners in the Racing Limos business report: "We heard from Brennan about ten minutes ago. He is okay; however, he and his friends are being moved to the Covington/Slidell area. The situation in the search and rescue operation in NO (New Orleans) has become extremely dangerous because of the shooting, so the military only is taking over that part of the operation..."

"We are going to Lake Charles this afternoon to volunteer with the Red Cross at the Civic Center where a large group of refugees are gathered and to BR (Baton Rouge) Saturday to be of assistance in the cleanup operations there..."

Bryan Pease concludes by saying, "Our emphasis here is not to gain attention or praise for what we're doing. "We want to show everyone, across the country, that every effort helps, whether donating their time or money, no matter what the amount."
